One of the most time sensitive tasks on the fire-ground is deploying an attack line and beginning water application. Properly making the stretch receives a great amount of attention in engine company trainings, and yet, I think most would still agree that it can always be done faster and more efficient. In an effort to continually improve upon engine company operations, modifying how our hose is loaded and moved to the seat of the fire can significantly impact our efficiency in a positive way.
